1. About Sacred Wellness

Sacred Wellness is a Private Membership Association (PMA) and a §501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. By accessing our website or applying for membership, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern your use of cofsw.org and all member services.

2. Private Membership Association

Sacred Wellness operates as a private, invitation-based membership organization. This means:

• All services are offered exclusively to accepted members
• Membership is granted at our sole discretion
• Activities occur within the private domain of the Association
• Member activities are not open to the general public
• By applying, you acknowledge your desire to join a private community

3. Eligibility

To become a member of Sacred Wellness, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Complete and submit a membership application
• Be approved by Sacred Wellness administrators
• Sign and agree to the Membership Agreement
• Agree to our code of conduct and community guidelines

4. Services and Educational Content

Sacred Wellness provides wellness education, coaching, integration support, and community services. You acknowledge that:

• Services are educational and supportive in nature, not medical treatment
• No content constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or therapy
• Educational content about psychedelic-assisted therapies is for informational purposes only
• Sacred Wellness does not facilitate, promote, or condone illegal activities
• You are solely responsible for decisions regarding your own health and wellness
• Results are not guaranteed and individual experiences vary

5. Voluntary Donations

Financial contributions to Sacred Wellness are entirely voluntary donations in support of the Association's mission. They are not fees for professional services. By making a donation:

• You understand the donation is voluntary and non-refundable
• You are not purchasing a professional service or guaranteed outcome
• Recurring donations can be cancelled at any time by contacting us
• Donations are processed securely through Stripe

6. Member Conduct

As a member, you agree to:

• Treat all members, facilitators, and staff with respect and compassion
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all community discussions and member identities
• Not record, share, or distribute any private session content without consent
• Provide accurate and truthful information in your membership application
• Not use Sacred Wellness services for any illegal or harmful purpose

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership without refund.

7. Session Booking and Cancellation

Session requests are subject to practitioner availability and must be confirmed by Sacred Wellness. We ask that you:

• Provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a confirmed session
• Attend sessions you have confirmed to honor practitioner time
• Contact us directly for rescheduling needs

8. Assumption of Risk

Participation in holistic wellness practices involves personal commitment and inherent risk. You voluntarily assume full responsibility for your wellness journey, decisions, and outcomes. Sacred Wellness, its practitioners, administrators, and members are not liable for any physical, emotional, or psychological outcomes arising from your participation.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on cofsw.org — including text, images, educational materials, and resources — is the property of Sacred Wellness PMA. Member resources are provided for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared outside the membership without written permission.

10. Membership Termination

Sacred Wellness reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership at our discretion, particularly in cases of conduct violations, misrepresentation, or activity contrary to the Association's mission. Members may cancel their membership at any time by contacting us. Cancellation does not entitle members to a refund of any voluntary donations made.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sacred Wellness PMA and its officers, practitioners, and administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, website, or participation in Association activities.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the Church of Sacred Wellness is incorporated. Any disputes arising from membership or use of our services shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation before any legal proceedings are initiated. You agree to attempt resolution through mediation prior to filing any lawsuit.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Significant changes will be communicated to active members via email. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
